Nikole Cappiello joined the Windward Life Care team in 2018 with the goal of helping older adults and their family members access expert guidance in aging well. Nikole’s professional background includes clinical work in the areas of mental health and crisis intervention counseling, as well as in customer service. Nikole will earn her Masters of Social Work from California State University San Marcos in May of 2019, and plans to continue working with older adults throughout her career. Nikole is a firm believer in connectedness and the idea that “it takes a village” to lead the best life possible. As the Community Service Representative, Nikole educates prospective clients on Windward’s services and connects them to our clinical team.

“I cared for my grandmother who suffered from dementia and supported my mother who, disabled herself, was my grandmother’s primary caregiver. We did the best we could to ensure my grandmother had the highest quality of life possible, but it was a struggle. Now, being familiar with Aging Life Care Management and how it supports the in-home caregiving plan, I recognize that we didn’t have to wade alone through confusion, uncertainty, and grief with every decision. The Windward team is here to be a loving and expert extension of the ‘village’ that all families need through various transitions in life.”
