Staffing ManagerAnn first joined the Windward team as Staffing Coordinator upon moving to San Diego from Minnesota. She arrived with more than a decade of CNA experience, working at senior rehabilitation centers where she honed her skills in medication administration, personal care, and memory care. Ann’s experience handling the scheduling of nursing staff and managing supplies for an 85-bed facility prepared her well for her role with Windward. As Staffing Manager, Ann oversees our staffing team and scheduling of our Home Care Aides, matching caregiver skills and abilities with client needs.
“When I became a CNA in 2006, I knew long- term care was the right path for me. Taking care of older adults and individuals living with disabilities became my focus when I worked in a skilled nursing facility. I enjoy helping people with their daily activities, and developing a closeness like a friend or family member. I laughed and shared tears with many residents over the years.
When I was prepping for my move to California from Minnesota, I knew I still wanted to work in healthcare and be able to continue helping people. I was a little nervous about starting at Windward, the first job I have had outside of a skilled nursing facility in 16 years! Luckily, I couldn't be happier with my decision. I get to continue to help others and I work for an amazing company that truly cares for all of its employees and clients.”
