Your Guides To Aging Well

Windward Life Care services start by establishing a relationship with an Aging Life Care Manager. Through a detailed assessment process with their Care Manager, clients and their families gain an objective perspective on their situation. Care Managers develop a plan of care that addresses identified needs and improves quality of life while anticipating developments as the client’s situation evolves. Clients may choose to utilize care management services alone or in combination with Home Care Aide services.

The professional guidance of a Care Manager is invaluable for long-distance caregivers, working families, and anyone who needs support navigating the maze of the health care and long-term care systems. In the event of a sudden change in an aging parent’s status, families are reassured that a knowledgeable expert is ready and able to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

“I was having an extremely difficult time with both of my parents – together.  Fortunately, a good friend of mine recommended Windward Life Care.  Our Care Manager was phenomenal and helped me beyond words. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to help me deal effectively with my parents’ situation.  At first with in-home care and as things progressed into assisted living.  It was an extremely difficult situation, and our Care Manager was caring and patient.  I couldn’t have done this on my own.  She helped me maintain my sanity and my own life while expertly guiding me along the path to make sure my parents were well cared for.  I can’t express my gratitude enough!!” – L.H.
